I'm sorry if you've gone and spent a lot of money (and more it seems) on something you thought was a supercar. It's a great car, something that will always be known as a big leap forward and most importantly: will be a great car to use and enjoy. You don't need to try to make it out to be a supercar. Or try to use internet claims of wealth to win an argument.

This guy is the type of 'car person' I despise. All about the numbers and performance, no fucks given for any other factor one should consider when buying a car.

I'm a firm believer that you should buy what you like regardless of how it stacks up. If everyone just bought the best performing car the world would be a boring place. For the whole package, the i8 is insanely good: looks like the future, great performance, insane luxury, and generally good economy. Would it lose to an SS 1LE in a race? Maybe, but if that's all that matters to someone they should really reevaluate their priorities.

Just to throw my opinion in there. I think this thing will be awesome! It will also sound awesome (turbo 3 cylinders rule) and look awesome! I just can't get over the separation in the rear 3/4 panel!!! That will haunt me for years!
